Privacy Policy

Last updated July 7, 2026

localseotool.io respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We keep things short and in plain English because legal documents no one reads are worthless.

What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email and name. When you use the product, we log the keywords and locations you search, the businesses you track, and the reports you generate. We do not collect or store search data from your end users' devices.

How we use it

We use your data to provide the service, send you reports, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We never sell your data. We never share it with marketers.

Who we share it with

We use sub-processors for infrastructure (AWS), email (Postmark), and analytics (Plausible). Each sub-processor is contractually required to keep your data confidential. A full list is available on request.

Google user data (Google Business Profile)

When you connect your Google Business Profile to localseotool.io, we access data from your Google account through the Google Business Profile APIs, using the permission you approve (the business.manage scope). This may include your business locations and details, reviews and your replies, posts, and performance insights. We use this data only to provide the features you connect for, such as displaying your reviews, letting you reply to them, updating your business information, and showing performance metrics in your dashboard. We access only the profiles you own or manage.

localseotool.io's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We do not sell this data.
  • We do not use it for advertising.
  • We do not use it to train generalized or AI/ML models.
  • We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the features you requested, to comply with applicable law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your account settings, which immediately revokes our access.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data at any time from Settings, or by emailing support@localseotool.io. We respond to data requests within 7 days.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies for authentication and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We use privacy-focused analytics that do not track individuals across the web.

Changes to this policy

We'll notify you by email before any material change to this policy takes effect. For small clarifications, we may update this page without notice - the “last updated” date will always reflect the most recent revision.
